I never thought I’d ever be able to name a favourite place in Paris. When we first visited Paris I loved absolutely everything, and equally.
But over the years one special Parisian landmark has drawn me back again and again. In fact, it is now the only place I definitely have to spend time in whenever I’m in Paris.
And that place is the Palais-Royal. Unsurprisingly regal and entirely entertaining, the Palais-Royal is choc-full of people watching, shopping and dining opportunities. And you also have the chance to take in modern art against a centuries old backdrop.
It is also an amazing place to take a photo or two. The light seems to be just right no matter what time of day you visit.
Given how much I love the place, I was really keen to write an extended article about the Palais-Royal. And you can check that piece out over at My French Life™. In it, I share all my favourite features of this Parisian icon.
Do you have a favourite spot in Paris that you just keep going back to? If so, I’d love for you to share it in the comments below.
And until next time – au revoir.
