I’m starting to get a bit excited. We are looking at travelling back to France next year, and it’s only a few short weeks now until the early bird flights become available. And once the flights are booked, the planning can really commence.
For me, half the fun of any trip to France is in the planning. I love checking out possible destinations, various accommodation options and things that we might do or see. I get serious about my research, reading anything about France that I can get my hands on (especially other blogs) and spend hours looking at maps and sorting out train timetables.
I end up with lists – lots and lots of lists. Places to eat, things to buy, clothes to take, must see sights – and so many more!
I really do enjoy the planning phase of any trip! And I’m counting down the days until I can book flights!
Until next time – au revoir.

I spent 9 days in Paris and the Riviera this past July! It was my second time to France and I can never get enough. I highly recommend Avignon, Cassis and Eze 🙂
