If you’ve ever travelled to Paris, one thing you would have almost certainly have noticed noticed is the absolute abundance of florists. There seems to be one on almost every corner.
I just adore the displays at the French florists. Bucket brimming with the freshest blooms spill out onto the footpaths, delighting passers-by with a riot of colour and rich scents.
Obviously the selection on offer changes with the season but roses always seem to be on offer. And at Christmas time, flowers are joined by small Christmas trees, all bundled up in netting.
The sheer number of florists send the very clear message that the Parisians really appreciate their fresh flowers. And why wouldn’t they, when freshly cut blooms bring both colour and elegance to any decor?
So this week, how about taking a leaf from the Parisian style guide and choosing to Frenchify Your Friday with a bunch of fresh flowers?
Whether you go for something large or small, a single variety or a happy mixture they’ll be sure to bring a smile to your face.
All the best for a fabulous Friday.
Until next time – au revoir.
