If you happen to have had a week as crazy as mine, you might be looking for a sweet treat. A ‘goldilocks’ sort of treat. Nothing too big, but something small and comforting. Something just right.
Even if you haven’t had a crazy week, you might still be looking for a little, tasty indulgence.
If this is the case, then a batch of Madeleines is likely to fit the bill.
Warm, golden and so yummy, Madeleines are also incredibly easy to pop together.
With a few simple ingredients and even fewer steps you’ll have a classic taste of France whipped up in no time at all. And don’t worry if you don’t have a ‘proper’ Madeleine pan – a regular muffin or cupcake pan will do.
