Given that it is Good Friday tomorrow, I thought that a perfect way to Frenchify Your Friday this week might be to deepen your understanding of French Easter traditions.
Rather than simply regurgitating my research, I thought it would be better to point you in the direction of sites that have already done an excellent job of sharing all that is interesting, yummy and fun about Easter in France.

Did you know that traditionally, the Easter Bunny is not a standard fixture in most of France? Apart from in the Alsace, French children’s Easter eggs are delivered by church bells – which is something I found absolutely fascinating. As Monday is a national holiday in France, that’s when most villages organize an Easter egg hunt, and have a massive group omelette in the wild, weather permitting. Our village’s omelette is made with wild asparagus, which the hiking group picks just beforehand.
